I had to use glue, yes.. :) It's not a snap fit model.. :)

Merci.. :) I found the paint was a bit thick to handbrush, but I dpped the brush in water and that little bit of water thinned the paint enough to make it better. But bigger areas like the uniform needed more than one coat of paint.. :)

Thank you. I enjoyed building this and have since got two more kits of this vehicle in 1/72.which I hope to build as a winter diorama at some point. Still waiting for one kit to arrive together with some figures.. :)

Yes, it's a bit of a bother.. but it was easily sorted. If I had had more time, I would have done the historical part differently. I am more careful now.. :)

I skipped all the internal bits, so it was a fairly straight forward build, even though the suspension was fiddly and a bit flimsy. But I made sure I left the glue to cure properly, I find Tamiya glues are very good.. :)

Yes, it is a bit of an old kit, I guess... but I enjoyed building it, it not something you often see models of at shows etc.. :)

It is a better kit than the Typhoon and the decals were easier to use, although a lot of patience and liberal amounts of decal solutions were still needed..

@@BasicModelling Oh wow! I built the Typhoon and thought it a great kit. Really enjoyed that one.

@@DrewsModels I built the Typhoon and the Tempest together, as the paint schemes were identical, and it saved time to do a joint build of the two. I got the impression they had improved certain things in the kit design and assembly process from the Typhoon to the Tempest, but that is my thought of course, you may think differently. I did enjoy the Tempest build slightly more though..

Thank you, Joachim.. :) I used the D-Day decals that came with the kit and it wasn't easy... but with a lot of patience and decal solutions, it worked! :) My current project is a Panzerwerfer 42 Auf Maultier, in 1/35 scale, it is my summer holiday project and it will be complete in a couple of days, although my summer break ends tomorrow. On Monday I'm going back to work.. :)

Sound like a great and interesting project with the Panzerwerfer. Wish you a successful time with your idea.

Yes, it is quite a different design from te Hawker designed aircraft they did before it.. :)
